We are currently working on Shift work Lifestyle training. This is primarily designed for the
20 to 35 shift workers that haven’t had the opportunity to receive any shift work education.
There are two Sessions scheduled on Wednesday, September 14th, and one Session on
Thursday, September 15th. These sessions will be open to all shift workers and their
spouses, however they are designed for new shift workers. For all of the veterans of shift
work, Please be reminded we are not telling you what you must do, must eat, how to
socialize, when to sleep or not to, etc.. These are just suggestions and ideas to improve
your quality of life while you are on shift work.
We will be also be having training courses for the shift committee, that will allow us to train
ourselves on site in the future. As turnover and retirements bring new faces arrive into shift
work, we will try to help these adjustments without the trial and error method many of us
longtime employees have already done.
If anyone has shift work related problems Please contact myself or one of the committee
members so we can address at one of our quarterly meetings
